The Florida Water Loss Program (FWLP) is providing free water loss audit training and water loss control technical assistance to utilities in the state through the Florida Section of the American Water Works Association!

 

Here's what participating utilities can expect to receive:

• Training on the AWWA M36 Water Auditing & Loss Control Programming and the AWWA Free Water Audit Software

  • Learn about data validation & how to daylight data issues

  • Learn where your loss costs are the greatest, and which should be a priority

  • Determine next steps for water loss reduction, revenue recovery, and supply-side conservation practices 

  • Take the appropriate steps toward effective water loss control management

• One-on-one sessions with water audit experts to validate your water audit

• Water loss control technical assistance including supply meter testing, billing data analysis, customer meter test analysis/design, real loss component analysis, leak detection

 

This program is being offered at no cost, and eligible to drinking water system staff.
